The transfer of firearms ( FFL Transfers) is a meticulous process governed by federal and state laws, ensuring compliance and promoting safety. Our FFL transfer process, conducted under the expertise of a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder, guarantees a seamless and lawful transition of firearms
To initiate your FFL transfer, the first step is to identify a reputable FFL holder in your vicinity. Our extensive network ensures you can find a valid FFL holder with ease. Once selected, the vendor will ship the firearm directly to the chosen FFL holder, kickstarting the compliant journey.
WE also have the ability to process NFA Class III items. This extends our services to cover a broad spectrum of firearms, demonstrating our commitment to meeting diverse needs
The subsequent steps involve a thorough background check on the buyer, including identification verification, a criminal history examination, and scrutiny through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS). Successfully passing these checks allows the buyer to acquire the firearm, with a nominal transfer fee being the only remaining step.

It’s easier to execute by following our pre-approval process. Please start by filling out the form below or reach out to us at [email protected].
Incoming Transfers
- Accept incoming transfers for most new and used firearms from FFL Holders only.
- We will exchange FFL information with the original firearm dealer, and the dealer will ship to our location.
- We do not accept transfers shipped from individuals, only other FFL holders.
- Require a valid form of government-issued I.D. upon picking up all firearm transfers.
- You will need to complete an ATF Form 4473 for the necessary background check. You must be the original purchaser.
- Only the person whose name is on the transferred item’s paperwork can legally pick up the firearm.
- We will contact you to schedule an appointment when our receiving department has checked in the firearm.
- We can process Short-Barreled Rifle (SBR) or Pistol-Braced Firearm Transfers.
- We can process Class III transfers.
- We do not release firearms without a “Proceed” on the NICS background check.
- Our current fee is $35.00 for the gun transfer fee PER FIREARM.
Outgoing Transfers
- We ship firearms only to FFL’s.
- A copy of the destination FFL is required for our files.
- We include a copy of our FFL with the shipment.

- We will ship to C&R License holders as long as the firearm is qualified as a Curio or Relic by the BATF.
- Under no circumstances will we ship a firearm directly to an individual.
- Black powder guns are not considered firearms by the BATF and can be shipped to an individual.
- Shipping is by FedEx or UPS second day air for handguns; FedEx ground or UPS ground for long guns. Notice: Transfers to outgoing states must comply with state and local restrictions. Nadir Solutions LLC will not ship prohibited items into such territories.
FFL Transfer Special Conditions
- Nadir Solutions, LLC does NOT accept firearm transfers for any firearms purchased by a non-US citizen. We apologize for the inconvenience.
- NFA Items
- We carry a Special Occupancy Tax (SOT) Certificate and can process NFA Items.
- This process can be lengthy and will require additional time, most likely substantial, for the ATF to process and approve your required paperwork.
- After 30 days, Nadir Solutions LLC will charge a storage fee of $5.00 per day until the product is retrieved.
- NFA Items, the storage fee calendar starts after 30 days of notice to proceed, approval of acquisition, and notice to come pick up your item.
- You must proceed with the normal Form 4473 Transfer Paper work and bring your Tax Stamp along to complete the transaction.
- Nadir Solutions, LLC will assume ownership of the product once the storage fee equates to the present market value (MAP) of the item.
